Hamburg-based private equity firm Hanse Industrie Capital has rescued Delmod International, which owns the German womenswear brands Delmod and Hirsch, from administration.
Hanse Industrie Capital is understood to have taken an 85% stake in the business, which was previously held by investment firm CFC Group.
Hanse Industrie Capital said in a statement on its website that it would look to take the business forward and rehabilitate the company. It said the first priority would be to ensure all autumn deliveries were made.
Delmod and Hirsch have about 95 stockists in the UK.
Hanse Industrie Capital specialises in investing in distressed firms.
