Didier Drogba launches underwear and swimwear label

Former Chelsea footballer Didier Drogba has launched a website with images from his upcoming underwear and swimwear collection, Drogba & Co.

The 16-piece range has been designed by Drogba and fellow Ivorian, couturier Elie Kuame, in collaboration with Marseille-based underwear brand Hom.

The website – which links to Hom’s ecommerce site – enables fans to pre-purchase products from the Drogba & Co collection before its global retail launch on May 1.

Of every product sold, €1 will go to the Didier Drogba Foundation, whose main aim is to provide healthcare and education in Ivory Coast.

Drogba said: “By producing my own line of underwear I’m able to achieve two goals: to design a fashionable men’s underwear range, and to create a product that will directly support my charitable foundation – to aid in healthcare and education in the Ivory Coast.”
