Diesel opens largest store

Young fashion brand Diesel has opened its largest store to date in Milan, Italy and will open a similar concept shop in New York in the US this spring.

The 16,000 sq ft store, called Planet Diesel, is located at the intersection of San Babila Square and Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Milan.

The opening of the store is part of the roll-out of the Planet Diesel concept which began in the Far East with openings in Ginza in Tokyo and Queens Road in Hong Kong this year.

Next year a fourth Planet Diesel will open on 5th Avenue and 54th Street in New York.

Diesel has also re-jigged its mono-brand store presence on London's Carnaby Street and has opened a separate standalone Diesel Woman store on the landmark stretch. The brand's existing store on the street will sell only menswear.
