Doddle plans seven store openings

Parcel collection, returning and sending service Doddle has revealed its latest tranche of shop openings, including one in Westfield Stratford.

This week the company will open stores at Southampton, Tonbridge, Woking, Glasgow Central, Chancery Lane in London, and Basingstoke train stations.

Westfield UK and Europe marketing director Myf Ryan said the shopping centre operator saw an “opportunity to respond to shoppers’ needs and ultimately help deliver a seamless experience for customers shopping online and in store at Westfield”.

TM Lewin is also on the verge of completing the full integration of Doddle into its online checkout. This means customers will be able to access Doddle services directly through the TM Lewin website, offering an alternative to its existing click-and-collect and next-day delivery services.

Doddle has also appointed Sam Shutt as director of concessions and partnerships, focused on expanding the service offer to universities, airports, shopping centres and major employment campuses such as office buildings and hospitals.

He was previously retail director at facilities management firm Interserve FM and founded events and hospitality business Thinkbigtoday.
