Drapers Awards: DEADLINE EXTENDED

The deadline to enter the Drapers Awards 2009 has been extended by one week to July 30. Download an entry form now and show the industry that your business is one of the most innovative and creative in the country.

The Drapers Awards will celebrate successes across the sector, from independent retailers through to department stores, high street multiples and etailers. Outstanding womenswear, menswear and young fashion brands will also be recognised.

Being shortlisted or indeed winning a Drapers Award in what has been a challenging year for the sector can be hugely beneficial to your business. The awards are a useful marketing tool that can be used to help shout about your excellence to your customers, as well as being a great way to motivate and incentivise your staff and to celebrate successes over the past year.

There have been some tweaks to categories this year including the opening up of the Lingerie Retailer and Kidswear Retailer categories to multi-brand retailers. In addition, the value sector has become such an integral part of the high street that retailers operating in this market should now enter Larger Multiple or Smaller Multiple

The awards, sponsored by Global Refund, will take place at a glittering ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in Park Lane, London, on November 18.

Go to www.drapersawards.co.uk for more details and to download an entry form. The closing date for entries is now July 30.
