Drapers Etail Awards 2009 shortlist revealed

The shortlist of entries for the inaugural Drapers Etail Awards 2009 in January has been unveiled.

The shortlisted retailers in the nine categories are:

Best Customer Experience: River Island, Streetshirts, Asos, Reiss, Kurt Geiger and Oasis.

Best Etail Innovation: Littlewoodsdirect, Farfetch, My-Wardrobe, Matches and Chemical Records.

Best Etail Marketing Initiative: Warehouse, Simply Be, Aussie Bum, Mio Destino, Chemical Records and Oasis.

Best Etailer: Littlewoodsdirect, M and M Direct, Yoox, Simply Be, Asos and My-Wardrobe.

Best Independent Etailer: Cloggs, Start, Coco Ribbon, Xile Clothing, Sarah Coggles, Oi Polloi and Matches.

Multichannel Retailer: River Island, New Look, USC, Schuh, Topman, Reiss and Kurt Geiger.

Best New Etailer: Wellicious, Radley, New Look, Di-Moda Clothing, Sugar Plum Tree and Big Shoe Boutique.

Best Single-brand Etailer: Hunter Boot, Billy Bag, Anya Hindmarch, Links of London, Mulberry.

Best Specialist Etailer: Mama-la-mode, Childrensalon, Tie Warehouse, Figleaves, MyTights, Evans Sole heaven, Petit Feet.

  • I would like to comment on my dealings with Tie Warehouse, since they are contenders for an award.
    I have had excellent and friendly service from them, and they have gone out of their way to find what I wanted, even though it was a small order for something they did not actually stock!
    They deserve a medal!
