Drapers Footwear Awards 2010 open for entries

The Drapers Footwear Awards 2010 are now open for entries.

The awards will celebrate the best footwear independents, multiple specialists and high street fashion chains with a footwear offer as well as recognising the best-serviced brands of the year and the most promising student footwear designers - the future of this industry.

Drapers has also introduced two new categories to recognise outstanding individuals operating within the footwear sector: Buyer of the Year and Store Manager of the Year. Both roles are vital to the success of any footwear business and we would ask for nominations from head office as well as from suppliers/brands.

Winning an award - and even being shortlisted for one of these prestigious accolades - is a real chance to shine in front of your peers, your customers and your suppliers and to gain the recognition you deserve. It is also a brilliant motivational and morale-boosting tool for your highly-valued staff.

The final deadline for entries is March 26 2010.

Entry is quick, simple, and best of all, free. Simply visit, select the categories you wish to enter and complete the short online form.

Drapers has relocated the awards ceremony to the five-star Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London this year. These awards are a fantastic networking event and tables always sell quickly. Book before April 14 2010: save up to £250 on the price of your table. Go to for more information.
