Footwear brand Dune London is continuing to focus on international expansion as one of its core strategies for 2019, Drapers can reveal.
In the UK, the brand will expand its standalone store footprint by opening a new location in Newcastle Eldon Square and building on its outlet store presence in Cheshire Oaks, Icon O2 and Kildare Village.
Dune also plans to open its first stores in Singapore and Romania, and a flagship store in Bangkok, this year.
South America is another focus area, and Dune plans to roll out eight new concessions with its existing partner in Chile.
In the last 18 months, the brand has opened stores in 46 new locations and nine new markets. It has strongly focused on further developing in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Asia regions.
Dune opened 10 new concessions in department stores in mainland China, two in Macau and one in Hong Kong, as well as new standalone stores in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in Vietnam; and Manila in the Philippines.
It currently trades in more than 50 locations in the Middle East.
