Credit and debit cards currently have a limit of £30 for contactless payments, but now shoppers will be able to use Apple Pay to pay for goods of any amount in all 37 of Dune’s UK stores.

Dave Abbott, Dune’s retail omnichannel manager, said: “We felt it was imperative to offer our customers the ability to make high-value payments with Apple Pay, due to the nature of our average transactions being over £30. It allows a more streamlined payment transaction.”

Apple Pay works with iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s and 6s Plus and the Apple Watch.
