Dunhill London has appointed Burberry senior vice-president of menswear Mark Weston as its new creative director.

The news comes after former Burberry executive Andrew Maag joined Dunhill as CEO in January. Maag, who was Burberry chief executive for Europe, Middle East, India, Africa and Americas, succeeded Fabrizio Cardinali.
Weston replaces John Ray, who departed in January 2016 after three years in the role.
Weston was responsible for developing Burberry’s product ranges for men in his previous position.
Maag said: “Mark brings an innate understanding of menswear and product design that will uniquely drive our brand and business growth forward. I am excited by Mark’s appointment to lead the brand’s creative vision to the future.”
Weston added: “The opportunity to creatively develop and design for the iconic British menswear luxury brand is rare and exciting.”
Weston will present his first collection for Dunhill at London Fashion Week: Men’s in June. It will involve pieces from autumn 2017 as well as the spring 2018 collection.
