Danish footwear brand Ecco has confirmed it will open 25 more UK stores by the end of 2017, as it prepares to open its 42nd store in Bromley.
The company will open a 1,500 sq ft store at Intu Bromley shopping centre next month and has also recently signed deals for stores in Newcastle’s Metrocentre, Manchester and Leeds, aided by property advisor Harper Dennis Hobbs.
“This is an exciting time for Ecco in the UK, where we have a particularly strong foothold and a powerful brand presence,” Ecco’s UK managing director David Butler said.
Amanda O’Flaherty, senior surveyor at HDH, said: “Following the successful acquisition of Bromley and Metrocentre, we have six new stores already in the pipeline for Ecco and the company has plans for a further five or six next year spread across the country.”
CBRE advised Intu on the Bromley store and HDH and CWM advised Ecco.
