Eden Park set to open London store

Luxury French brand Eden Park is set to open its first store in London later this year.

The retailer, which supplies formalwear to the England rugby team and was founded by former French rugby international Frank Mesnel, is seeking to capitalise on the growing popularity of athleisure in the UK.

The brand is currently available online in the UK, as well as at House of Fraser, and previously had shops in Cardiff and Edinburgh, although these are no longer open. Mesnel is seeking a premium London location for the new store, according The I reports.

”We’re looking for a retail store in prime central London,” said Mesnel. “Affordable premium that has been designed in France – it’s what the English people have been waiting for.”

Eden Park have since clarified their position to Drapers. A spokesman commented: “We’re excited about the UKs growth plans, but do not yet have a date set in stone for the launch of a flagship store in London. We hope that this will be in the not-so-distant future.”
