End of road for Scorah Pattullo

Premium footwear brand Scorah Pattullo has ceased trading after its backer and French Connection founder Stephen Marks pulled out of the business.

The company was founded in 2002 by Johnnie Pattullo and former French Connection buying director Frances Scorah. However, Pattullo left in 2006 after a clash over strategy.

In a letter to stockists Frances Scorah said: “Our backers have decided not to continue supporting the business and I have been unable to find alternative financing.”

Stephen Marks was unavailable for comment.
