Escada sells Apriori, Cavita and Laurèl

Escada has sold off its Apriori, Cavita and Laurèl womenswear brands to German investment firm Mutares.

Michael Hellin, the UK agent for Apriori and Cavita, said the deal would not impact either brand in the UK.

A UK agent is expected to be appointed for Laurèl (pictured), previously sold by the Escada-owned office in the UK.

Escada still has a 10% stake in the brands.
