Etailer The Idle Man to open ‘try before you buy’ store

Menswear etailer The Idle Man will open a ”try before you buy” store in London’s Clerkenwell on 6 October.

The Idle Man

The firm, which was established by former Asos menswear buyer Oliver Tezcan in 2014, is opening a 600 sq ft “guide store”, which will stock a range of own brand and branded menswear for customers to try on and order to be sent free of charge to an address of their choice.

The store will stock around two pieces each from brands including Edwin Made in Japan, Nudie, Lee 101, Hawksmill, LVC, Barbour, YMC, Soulland, Wood Wood, BBC, Carhartt, Dr Martens Made in England, Red Wing, Filson, Andersons Belts and Vans.

The menswear etailer secured a further £1.4m in funding in June to accelerate its growth, led by private equity firm Foresight Group and including Thomas Pink founder Peter Mullen.
