Evans set to launch young branded offer

Plus-size womenswear chain Evans has revealed that its young fashion branded offer will be called Style369.com.

The online-only store will offer a range of clothes and accessories from brands including Curvy Kate Lingerie, Rock & Revival, Kangol, Katherine Hamnett, Zandra Rhodes Handbags, Ruby Rocks, Saperilla and Punky Fish. Clothes will be sold in sizes 14 to 26.

Drapers revealed last month that the 260-store retailer, part of Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia Group, planned to launch the site in a bid to capitalise on the growing market for trend-led clothes for larger-sized teens.

Style369.com buying director Sue Vandenberghe said: “From extensive research we understand the fit challenges faced whilst shopping and our mission is to provide young women with the expertise and guidance. By focusing on the younger demographic, we can segment our product offer and give the younger customer a forum to shop online and be inspired by relevant and exclusive brands, that are styled and marketed in a way that appeals to them.”
