Global swimwear and lingerie show Lyon Mode City has been overhauled for autumn, with the launch of a new gallery exhibition.
The 450,000 sq ft Evolution Gallery is an 11-stage area that will guide visitors through the entire fabric supply chain. It will also link Lyon Mode City with sister fabric show Interfiliere.
Marketing and visitor manager Florence Mompo said: "It will summarise the evolution from fibres to finished product, and will allow visitors to understand the fair's offer and identify new exhibitors."
The gallery will be split into accessories, a men's area, a beachwear retrospective, vintage collections and a lounging area.
Lyon Mode City will also launch an international village for visitors this season, and a French lingerie area.
The show will be staged alongside Sport Achat, a sports trade fair featuring 350 fabric, shoes and outdoor accessories brands.
Lyon Mode City, which takes place on September 1-3, will feature 900 brands. Last year it attracted about 19,500 visitors from 90 countries. For information, see www.lyonmodecity.com.
