Ex-New Look retail chief joins Pink Boutique

Former New Look head of retail Dan Arden has joined online womenswear brand Pink Boutique as commercial director.

In his new role, Arden is responsible for overseeing the buying, merchandising, design, creative, digital marketing and trading.

Arden joined New Look as country manager for the Republic of Ireland in 2011 and became head of retail in 2012.

He left the retailer in 2015 and has spent the past couple of years consulting for financial and retail businesses.

Before New Look, he was area manager for the West End of London and the Midlands at Arcadia Group for about seven years.

Pink Boutique was started in 2012 by entrepreneur Alice Hall, who decided to launch a website for glamorous women’s clothing with just £90.

Last December, it was named on a list of the private companies with the fastest-growing sales in the UK, in the Sunday Times Fast Track league table for 2016.
