Ex-Pure commercial director launches agency at Scoop

Former commercial director at womenswear trade show Pure and Drapers Lucy Walsh is launching a new fashion agency, The Brand Ambassadors, at exhibition Scoop.

Walsh is introducing three new womenswear brands - Black Lily, Mos Mosh and Toupy - to the UK at Scoop which runs from August 2 to 4 at London’s Saatchi Gallery. She will then have a pop-up showroom in Hammersmith for the month of August.

Walsh told Drapers the agency represents “quality, contemporary womenswear brands” and has a focus on launching international designers to the UK and Ireland.

Walsh worked at Pure for four years and was at Drapers for eleven years before that.

Walsh said of the launch: “A friend and fellow agent suggested that I launch my own agency as it seemed like such a perfect fit for my connections and passion and it all snowballed from there.  I’ve had so much support from people in the industry helping me set up, I think people like an entrepreneurial spirit and remember what it was like when they started out.”
