Accessories label Paul’s Boutique has tapped Daniel Morris as the brand’s new managing director.
Morris joins the company from Petland Group brand Boxfresh, where he held the same position.
Paul Slade, founder and owner of Paul’s Boutique, said Morris’ appointment brought “a great depth of knowledge and experience in long-term brand building” both in the UK and internationally.
Morris told Drapers the brand had experienced “natural growth” in markets such as South Korea, Hong Kong, Greece and South Africa, but a “full strategy” had never been in place.
Part of his new strategy will therefore involve extending the brand internationally, focusing on Europe and Asia.
He added: “Paul’s Boutique is ideal for the Chinese market. We are looking for the right partners to implement a growth strategy. But we’ll be looking East, that’s for sure.”
