Reiss’s chief digital officer Simon Pickering is to join House of Fraser as buying and merchandising director for clothing and accessories, Drapers has learned.
Pickering’s is a new expanded role. He will join the department store’s head office on 12 February, and will report to executive product and trading director Maria Hollins.
Pickering joined Reiss five months ago after spending six years at Fat Face.
He joined Fat Face in 2010 as product director, stepping up as trading director in 2014.
Prior to this Pickering was divisional director at Arcadia, a position he held for three years.
Hollins said: “[Simon] has a wealth of experience in the retail and digital space, which will be invaluable as we continue to transform our business at pace.”
