Exclusive: Jigsaw COO exits

Jigsaw’s chief operating officer Richard Gilmore is leaving the business to join Fred Perry as its new managing director, Drapers understands.

It is thought that Gilmore will begin his new role next month.

Gilmore left Fred Perry to join Jigsaw as COO in September 2013. His appointment marks a return to Fred Perry, having previously worked there as planning director for seven years from 2006.

He was also previously head of merchandising at John Lewis and held merchandising roles at Debenhams and River Island.

Fred Perry’s former managing director Barry Webb left in May after two years in the role. He was previously CFO at the business for 12 years.

Jigsaw and Fred Perry have yet to respond to requests for comment.
