Exclusive: Missguided chief customer officer exits

Chief customer officer at Missguided, Kenyatte Nelson, has left the business after eight months, Drapers can reveal.

Drapers understands he will not be replaced. 

Nelson joined in March 2018 from Shop Direct where he was group marketing director for three years. Prior to that he worked at Procter & Gamble for 13 years in various roles.

In a note seen by Drapers, Missguided CEO Nitin Passi said Nelson’s departure followed Passi “simplifying the business, getting back on track and getting back in control” over the last 12 months.

Nelson is the latest director to leave Missguided this year.

In May Drapers exclusively revealed that Missguided’s CEO of online Gareth Jones left the business after just eight months.

In July Missguided’s head of ecommerce, Mark Leach, left the Manchester-based fast fashion etailer to join conversion-optimisation agency User Conversion as managing director.

In October John Allen, chief technology officer at Missguided, left the business to join womenswear etailer Nobody’s Child as chief executive.
