The retailer, which has 782 stores in Asia, has just started its expansion into Europe and is set to open a second store in London in the near future, a spokeswoman told Drapers. It launched in Selfridges in 2015 and is stocked in Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps in France, and has a standalone store in Le Marais, Paris.

The 1,000 sq ft store will display Mo & Co’s “modern rock chic” personality, featuring key pieces for autumn 18 including a statement trench coat, thigh-high boots, a 1990s-inspired windbreaker and leather bumbag. Average retail prices are €200 (£180).

A spokeswoman said: “The Mo & Co store will be located at 62 South Molton Street, a very charming street and one of the most successful streets for retail. It is pedestrianised, giving a friendly neighbourhood feel and a familiarity to Londoners and tourists alike. We also chose South Molton street as we felt that we would be in good company, as it already houses some of the most notable brands in fashion.”

She added: “London is one of the leading capitals for fashion in the world. After activating Mo & Co’s presence in Paris, London seemed like a very natural and logical next step. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Selfridges London in the past and this led us to discover the market, with time, we felt the need to open our own shop.”
