Exclusive: Ted Baker womenswear director exits

Ted Baker’s womenswear director, Catherine Scorey, has left the business after 12 years, Drapers can reveal.

Scorey is understood to have stepped down from her role earlier this month.

Scorey’s career began as a buyer at Woolworths in South Africa. She then moved to London in 1996 to work at Topshop and joined Ted Baker as a buyer in 1998.

After a break from the company for a few years, during which she worked for several other fashion retailers, Scorey returned to Ted Baker in 2006. She was appointed as director of womenswear two years later.

In February Ted Baker head of ecommerce Suzanne Egleton left the business to join AllSaints as global digital director.

In September Ted Baker global retail director Chris Browne stepped down after almost three decades at the business.

A spokesman for Ted Baker said: ”We would like to thank Catherine for her contribution to Ted over the last 12 years and wish her all the very best for the future.”
