Exclusive: Triumph UK and Ireland managing director resigns

Triumph UK and Ireland boss Noreen Gallagher is set to resign from the lingerie brand after two years in the role.

Gallagher, who has been managing director of the UK and Ireland at the lingerie brand since 2011, will leave the business on Friday (October 11). Before Triumph, Gallagher was general manager of womenswear for Nike UK and Ireland.

She will be replaced on an interim basis by Triumph’s regional general manager for Anglo America Carol Burns.

Triumph said Gallagher was stepping down to return to her native Dublin to spend more time with her family.

The move follow the news that the brand is repositioning in the UK by introducing fresh product and a new store concept in an effort to widen its customer base.

Speaking to Drapers in April, Gallagher said the label was embarking on a five-year expansion plan in the UK by broadening its appeal to attract a younger shopper.
