Fashion faces named in list of most Britain's influential

Fashion faces new and old have been highlighted in the annual Debretts 500 list, as being among some of the most influential people in the country.

Designers dominated the fashion category, which named 20 people in total, with Christopher Kane appearing alongside Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney and Lulu Kennedy, while Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton, Burberry chief creative officer Christopher Bailey and Celine creative director Pheobe Philo also drawing acclaim.

BFC chair Natalie Massenet and GQ editor and London Collections: Men creator Dylan Jones were also on the list as was Central St Martin’s course director Louise Wilson, British Vogue’s editor in chief Alexandra Shulman and Love editor Katie Grand.

Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon and models Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne joined the line up, with those working behind the scenes – make up artists Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury, hairstylist Sam McKnight, casting director Russell Marsh and photographer Nick Knight also named.
