Fashion firms bag Queen’s Award

Etailer The Hut Group, Pentland Group and maternity occasionwear brand Tiffany Rose have been awarded the 2018 Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Kidswear retailer Childrensalon, sheepskin footwear brand Celtic & Co and sportswear labels Zone3 and SBD Apparel have also picked up the award.

The brands and retailers took home the award, which celebrates successful UK businesses, in the category of international trade.

The award aims to encourage the development of British business both domestically and internationally.

Matthew Moulding, founder and CEO of The Hut Group, said: “Receiving the prestigious International Trade Award is testament to the ambition, innovation and dedication of our people in developing The Hut Group into an internationally renowned, British business.”

It marks the second award win for Tiffany Rose, which previously received the Queen’s Award in 2013.
