Luella Bartley, Amanda Wakeley, Timothy Everest and Ultimo founder Michelle Mone were among the fashion players recognised in the New Year honours list.
Luella Bartley, whose business was closed down in November after her main backer pulled out, was awarded an MBE for services to the fashion industry.
Amanda Wakeley was given an OBE, as was Michelle Mone, the Scottish business woman and creator of the lingerie firm MJM International, which owns the Ultimo brand and which creates collections for supermarket chain Tesco.
Milliner Stephen Jones was also recognised with an OBE.
Anthony Edward Langford, a non-executive director at John Smedley, was awarded an OBE for services to the knitwear industry.
Tailor Timothy Everest was awarded an MBE for services to the fashion industry while Imtaz Khaliq, whose tailoring business was founded 18 years ago, was also given an MBE.
The textile trade was also recognised with OBEs awarded to Deirdre Anne Kinloch Anderson, director of Kinloch Anderson and to Anthony John William Attard, chief executive of Panaz.
