Online skills and development portal FashionCapital.co.uk has been restored after it fell victim to hacking on July 6.
The team feared that its 15-year archive of articles, industry documents, mentoring advice and more were lost, but the files were recovered by an external party and the site is now live and fully operational.
The site, which was launched in 2001, has a database of 80,000 users in the fashion and textiles industries.
Jenny Holloway, chief executive of FashionCapital and sister company Fashion Enter, said: “The team and I were absolutely devastated. So much work has gone into the site to ensure that individuals embarking in a career in fashion had everything at their fingertips.
“The relief when we heard the site was recovered was immeasurable.”
