Fenwick adds retail experts to the board

Fenwick has appointed Christine Cross and Alastair Kerr as non-executive directors.

Cross was a non–executive director of Next from 2005 to 2014 and since 2012 has been a non-executive director of Woolworths in Australia.

She has previously held a series of senior non-food retailing roles at Tesco, was chief retail and consumer services advisor at PwC and has continuing board advisory roles with Monsoon/Accessorise and Javelin.

Alastair Kerr is the senior independent director of financial services firm Alliance Trust and a non-executive director of brewery company Fuller, Smith & Turner and was a non-executive director of White Stuff from 2009 until earlier this year. His career has included senior positions at Mothercare and The Body Shop and more recently at consumer goods company Williams Sonoma.

“We are delighted to welcome Christine and Alastair to the board,” said Mark Fenwick, chairman of Fenwick. “They both bring significant and wide experience which we believe will be of real benefit to the business.”
