A duo of students have been crowned winners of the inaugural Graduate Design Programme.
Sally Hewett from Northumbria University and Rebecca Howarth from Manchester School of Art have won the prize, which comes through an initiative from the British Fashion Council (BFC), Topshop and Topman in partnership with the BFC Colleges Council.
The programme offers the two students a 12 month paid internship at Topshop and Topman respectively.
To enter the competition, students were asked to submit a mood board of the Topshop or Topman customer and design a 15 piece capsule collection.
Mary Homer, managing director of Topshop, said; “The Graduate Design Programme in partnership with the British Fashion Council is a natural extension of our work with design talent in the UK; it allows us to support emerging and graduate designers.”
