First kids’ collection for Derek Rose

Luxury nightwear brand Derek Rose will enter the kidswear market this autumn in response to consumer demand.

The business, which supplies classic nightwear for adults, will introduce ranges for boys and girls aged three to 12 years from October. They will be sold exclusively in Harrods’ bricks-and-mortar store and on the Derek Rose website.

The boys’ range features four styles of long-sleeved cotton and satin pyjamas and boxer shorts, with blue and white as key colours. The girls’ range comprises four pyjamas in shades including blue, pink and white. Wholesale prices range from £5.50 to £24.

Managing director Sacha Rose said: “This is a logical move. Over the years consumers have asked us for it.”

Derek Rose plans to revamp its website in October in a bid to treble online sales in the next two years.

Derek Rose and its loungewear line Naturally Derek Rose have more than 100 UK stockists.
