First Look: Birkenstock announces Seven Dials flagship

German sandal brand Birkenstock is set to open its first UK flagship in London’s Seven Dials, Covent Garden.

The new 1,100 sq ft store on Neal Street is set to open this autumn and will be Birkenstock’s first dedicated, brand-owned store in the country.

Split over two levels, the store will stock men’s, women’s and children’s shoes. Sam Bain Mollison, head of retail at the property company Shaftesbury which is the landlord for the store, said the shop will have the “largest range of products in the capital.”

  • I thought there used to be a Birkenstock store on Neal Street, about the 3rd store on the left heading from Long Acre towards Shelton Street, maybe 10 years ago? Anyone else remember that, or is it just in my imagination?
