First Look: Foot Locker opens in Liverpool

Footwear retailer Foot Locker has opened a new store, its largest in Europe, in the Liverpool One shopping centre.

The new 21,000 sq ft store at 5 Wall Street comprises of two-storeys.

The shop was designed inspired by youth culture. Foot Locker also commissioned Liverpool artist, Stephen Chan, to create a piece of artwork, which can be seen at the front of the store. In future the brand will work with other local artists to showcase the work of Liverpool creatives.

Nick Jones, vice president and general manager of Foot Locker Europe, called the store: “the ultimate destination for sneaker fans in Liverpool”.

“Liverpool has such an incredible cultural history and scene that it’s the perfect destination to lead the way for the future of Foot Locker stores.”

The business has more than 3,300 stores in 24 countries.
