First look: Gucci reopens flagship London store

Gucci has relaunched its 12,915 sq ft store on Sloane Street in Knightsbridge, London, after an extensive renovation.

Spread across two floors, the store houses Gucci’s men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collection, and accessories such as handbags, luggage, footwear, jewellery and eyewear.

There is a VIP room, where clients can receive a bespoke shopping experience. Gucci’s DIY service is also available, allowing customers to personalise selected products.

The new design combines traditional and modern aesthetics. Velvet armchairs and vintage oriental rugs sit alongside dark hardwood floors and cabinets, along with more industrial touches.
