Jigsaw has unveiled its Christmas ad, “Have a Holly Jolly Lobster”, in collaboration with the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
The ad, created using stop-motion animated puppets, is part of the brand’s wider Christmas campaign themed around surrealism.
Following the story of childhood neighbours Isabel and Caspian, who lose touch but are reunited as adults, the campaign is themed around the call for optimism in surreal times.
Jigsaw will also be launching a gifting collaboration with chocolatier Rococo for the festive season.
“In the context of a unique environment we felt like we needed to give our customers something unexpected and fun. The surreal aspect of the graphic treatment is inspired by the unique illustrations created by Rococo chocolates for their packaging. We have collaborated with them to produce some exclusive and unexpected gift ideas,” commented Alex Kelly, Jigsaw’s head of marketing.
