Selfridges has completed the transformation of its accessories hall at its London store, with a new space dedicated to fashion-forward handbags and small leather goods called the Progressive Edit.
The accessories hall now spans 60,000 sq ft, making it the world’s largest destination for luxury accessories in a single space, Selfridges said.
The area will house collections such as Italian label Medea Sisters and pyramid bag specialist Nita Suri, as well as avant-garde designer Oberkampf and London-based artisan label Una Burke. Dover Street Market has opened an area within The Progressive Edit offering jewellery for men and women, marking the first standalone outpost for Dover Street Market jewellery outside of its flagship London store.
The Progressive Edit sits alongside a 4,000 sq ft eyewear area, which offers full optometrist services and more than 2,200 eyewear styles.
