Flannels, the premium multibrand retailer owned by Sports Direct, is continuing its store rollout with two new openings in Swindon and Newport.
The business, part of Sports Direct’s premium lifestyle division, which also includes Cruise, Republic and USC, currently has eight stores in the UK and a transactional website.
Drapers previously revealed Flannels will open a three-floor central London flagship, having relocated to a new headquarters just off Oxford Street in October 2015, as well as a store in Plymouth in 2016.
The exact location of the new stores is not yet known and Flannels has not given a date for the launches. However, the business is currently in the process of recruiting staff for both Swindon and Newport, including casual sales assistants, who will be employed on zero-hours contracts.
In September, Sports Direct said it was introducing a new store concept for Flannels but would not provide further details.
Flannels stocks menswear, womenswear, footwear and accessories from brands such as Hugo Boss, Kenzo, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith and Dolce & Gabbana.
The premium retailer had a turnover of £22.7m for the year to April 2014, up from £19.6m the year before, but made a loss of £1.5m.
Flannels did not respond to request for comment.
