Footfall expected to jump over bank holiday

The Bank Holiday weekend is expected to boost footfall by 6.5% compared to last year, Springboard has predicted.

The warm weather forecast across the UK should lead shopper numbers to increase 7.2% compared with last year on Saturday.

Footfall on high streets will jump by 7.3% over the weekend, while visitor numbers to retail parks will rise 8%.
