Footwear brand Shellys to be stocked in Schuh

Revived footwear brand Shellys London will be sold in Schuh stores and online from mid-August.

The brand was given a new lease of life last year after Canadian retailer Aldo struck a deal with its owner, Hong Kong-based Eternal Best Industries, to operate the brand.

It has four other UK stockists: Asos, Zalando, Bank and Sarenza.

Schuh will stock Shellys’ autumn 14 collection, which features chunky-heeled shoe and ankle boots and is the third since it was taken over by Aldo’s wholesale division Aldo Product Services.

The styles stocked by Schuh range in price from £80 for shoes to £100 for boots.

Shellys previously existed as a retailer as well as a brand and had three stores in London. In 2007 its last remaining store at Oxford Circus closed and the business was put up for sale by its former owner Stylo.
