Kurt Geiger has relaunched its upmarket sub-brand of the same name as a top-end, better-quality footwear collection.
The premium footwear company, which sells a raft of designer brands alongside its own-label offer, has shifted almost all of the production of its Kurt Geiger brand to Italy. It previously sourced product from cheaper markets such as Brazil.
The spring 10 collection features a capsule range of stilettos, ballet pumps, boots and platform sandals in high-grade leathers and suedes.
Prices range from about £110 for pumps to more than £200 for more detailed formal styles.
Chief executive Neil Clifford said the new Kurt Geiger range went back to the retailer’s heritage and was based on introducing an element of “timeless style” to the Kurt Geiger offer.
