LK Bennett has appointed former BHS chief executive Darren Topp in the same role.
He replaces interim CEO Robert Bensoussan, who will stay on as a non-executive director.
The premium womenswear retailer has also appointed former BHS financial adviser Michael Hitchcock as CFO, succeeding Alison Egan. Both are joining this week.
Bensoussan said: “Having been an investor in LK Bennett since 2008, and having spent the last two years as interim CEO, now is the right time for me to step back into a non-executive role.”
Prior to joining BHS, Topp spent over twenty years at Marks & Spencer in a variety of leadership positions, including as divisional executive, head of HR and regional and store manager roles.
Hitchcock was previously CFO at Beales and Moss Bros.
A source close to the situation said: “[LK Bennett] is a great brand and it should be doing much better than it has been doing. There are opportunities in the UK and abroad, particularly in markets like China and the Middle East.
“There are probably too many stores in the UK which may have to be evaluated, but there are big opportunities online and in other areas.”
