Former Cloggs boss resurfaces to lead digital agency

Former Cloggs managing director Chris Thomas has launched a digital agency called Apex Ecommerce.

Thomas left the footwear retailer his father founded in 1979 at the start of this year.

His new venture provides digital marketing and ecommerce consultancy services to retailers. Thomas spearheads a team of digital marketing professionals and website designers.

Thomas joined to help run Cloggs in 2002, after his father fell ill. He sold the business to JD Sports in 2013 following its collapse into administration, but stayed on as managing director.
