Former Harrods board director heads to Heathrow

Heathrow airport has announced the appointment of Muriel Zingraff-Shariff, a former board director at Harrods as retail concessions director.

Zingraff-Shariff, who starts in July, will be responsible for developing Heathrow’s award winning retail business.

Her previous roles have included senior positions at Harrods, where she was board director responsible for women’s fashion, shoes, accessories and cosmetics, Paco Rabanne, where she was chief executive and also Jimmy Choo.

Most recently, she has been working with private equity firms 3i and Oaktree Capital in the luxury goods sector.

“With its award winning retail I’m excited to be joining Heathrow,” said Zingraff-Shariff.

“I am looking forward to working with the commercial team to develop the retail offering both in the existing terminals and the much anticipated new Terminal 2.”
