Former M&S and Monsoon execs pair up for kidswear pop-up

Former M&S general merchandise director Kate Bostock and ex-Monsoon chief executive Rose Foster have teamed up to launch a kidswear pop-up in Marlow.

The pop-up, which was unveiled yesterday (8 June), stocks childrenswear brand Angel & Rocket.

Bostock, who has also previously worked as chief executive at womenswear retailer Coast, owns the brand.

Foster, who has also worked as chief executive at lingerie chain La Senza, owns and runs the shop. It is located in Marlow High Street and spans 400 sq ft.

The brand also trades in department store John Lewis and online.

The pop-up is set to run until the end of September when the pair will review whether they can make the shop permanent, as well as scope to expand to other locations.

Foster said: “The pop-up is a trial so we’ll see how it goes before we take a view on what we’ll do. There is scope to make it more permanent.

“We need to see how the trial goes, but we’d like to set up more boutiques. Ideally we’d like to set up in locations similar to Marlow – in family-oriented market towns, with good footfall.”

Retail prices for the brand range from £23 for baby bodysuits and go up to £50 for dresses.
