Former M&S director to open Fenwick pop-up

Former Marks & Spencer director of womenswear Kim Winser will open a pop-up shop for her online fashion business Winser London in Fenwick’s Bond Street branch next week.

It follows the success of Winser London pop-ups in Stoke Park hotel in Buckinghamshire and Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, according to The Sunday Times.

Winser launched the womenswear etailer in 2013 with backing from Asian investors. It is sold online and in six John Lewis stores, three Harvey Nichols outlets and Rossiters of Bath in the UK and the Galleria department store in South Korea.

Before that she had stints at the helm of Pringle of Scotland, Aquascutum and Agent Provocateur.

She joined M&S in 1977 from school and stayed for 20 years, becoming its youngest appointed divisional director and first female in the commercial field when she was appointed director of womenswear in 1991.
