Former M&S exec Laura Wade-Gery to join John Lewis Partnership

Former Marks & Spencer executive director of multichannel Laura Wade-Gery is to join the John Lewis Partnership as a non-executive director.

Wade-Gery left M&S in September 2016, choosing not to return after her maternity leave ended. She joined the retailer in 2011.

Before that, she headed up supermarket Tesco’s ecommerce and digital operations.

She is currently also a non-executive director of property company British Land.

John Lewis Partnership chairman Sir Charlie Mayfield said Wade-Gery would “bring a wealth of experience in business and retailing”.
