Franklin and Marshall to open first UK store

Young fashion brand Franklin & Marshall will open its first UK store in London’s Covent Garden in April.

The 1722 sq ft unit spanning over two floors at 47-49 Neal Street, will carry the label’s men’s, women’s and accessories collections for spring 14 as well as exclusive collaborations.

Giuseppe Albarelli, co-founder of Franklin & Marshall, said the UK launch would “cement” the brand’s “global growth and position in the market”.

Franklin and Marshall also returned to streetwear show Bread & Butter in July after a five-year hiatus in order to consolidate its position in both the European and Middle Eastern markets.

The brand ended last year with a 24% rise in EBITDA and a 15% increase in profits, despite a slight dip in revenues to €46m (£38.9m) from €47m the previous year.
