Fred Perry acquires Lavenham

Fred Perry has acquired British quilted jacket brand Lavenham.

The equestrian lifestyle label exports 75% of its sales to international markets. Fred Perry said it “intends to build on” this global reach under its ownership.

Nicky Santomauro will continue in her role as managing director of Lavenham, and will be given access to resources and contacts within the Fred Perry group.

Manufacturing of Lavenham product will remain at its current factory in Sudbury, Suffolk.

John Flynn, chief executive of Fred Perry, said: “The Lavenham brand shares many similar characteristics with Fred Perry, and we are excited about working with Nicky and her team to help further develop the international markets for this flourishing brand.”
